Location
Peña La Cresta is ideally situated just 3 miles from the centre of the major holiday resort of Fuengirola. It is even less distance from the N340 (marked as A-7 on Google Maps) which is the main costal link between Malaga and Marbella. Both of those are less than half an hour's drive away. Gibraltar and the wonders of the Alhambra Palace in Granada are about an hour's drive away.
Within a short drive are beaches that UK residents can only dream about, if sun and sea are what you want.
Go inland. The 'pueblos blancos' (white villages) invite the more adventurous spirit, with some spectacular drives up into the 'campo' as well as through the Sierra Nevada.
But, to find Peña La Cresta, take the A-7053 towards Coín. Continue along the A-7053 for about 1 mile to the motorway viaduct. Go under the motorway and on the left there are two turnings onto tracks. You need to take the second turn. You will see Peña La Cresta immediately in front of you, the other side of the Rio Fuengirola. Go down the track, across the Rio, up the other side onto the metalled road, and Peña La Cresta is the first entrance on the left.
